Join Ta na wa Ns7éyx̱nitm ta Snew̓íyelh (Language & Cultural Affairs) for an exciting wí7ski níchim chet (Let’s Talk) event to launch ta wa níchim sḵexwts (Talking Dictionary). Hear our Elders who used Sḵwx̱wú7mesh sníchim (Squamish language) since they were children. We are incredibly thankful for their time and dedication. Hearing their voices will make it easier for you to learn Sníchim, so put your all into it!

Thursday, June 20, 2024 | 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm | Totem Hall

There will be food, and a chance to learn how to use the new ta wa níchim sḵexwts (Talking Dictionary). Please bring a smartphone or tablet (if you have one), and we will have a few laptops for you to use.

You can also check out ta wa níchim sḵexwts (Talking Dictionary) at skwáyel tl’a steltélmexw (Indigenous Peoples Day) on June 21 at CJMC, or browse talkingdictionary.squamish.net.
