Ta na wa Shéway I7x̱w ta Úxwumixw serves to develop long-term planning for all of the Nation’s lands, maintaining the goals and values of the Nation and our Members. The department oversees and coordinates new home construction for Members, as well as capital projects to support the community.
Ta na wa Shéway I7x̱w ta Úxwumixw could be interpreted as ‘The Ones Who Grow All The Communities’, referring to the department’s role in growing the community through land use planning as well as physically growing the community with capital projects, infrastructure, and new buildings.
