Nexwsxwníw̓ntm ta Úxwumixw (Council) is pleased to invite you to the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 21 & 22.
The third People’s Assembly of the year is the Squamish Nation’s AGM, which means that there is more business to attend to. As such, the meeting is held over two days. Attend on both days to recieve important information and cast your votes.
Saturday, September 21 (3:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
- Staff will present the Squamish Nation Audited Financial Statements for 2023/24.
- Learn about the Nation’s operations and finances and see how well we met our goals.
Sunday, September 22 (10:00 am – 5:00 pm)
- Eligible Voters will vote on resolutions.
- Resolutions passed first at a People’s Assembly and then at an Annual General Meeting become official recommendations to Council.
