The Electoral Commission is an independent institution of the Squamish Nation with authority over, and responsibility for, overseeing our elections and referendums.
The Electoral Commission is currently seeking two new members to fill vacancies for the term ending January 2024: one individual residing in Xwmélch’tstn (Capilano) Reserve and one individual residing off-reserve.
Commission members are compensated with an honorarium of $100 per half-day meeting (3 hours) and $300 for a full-day meeting.
